About the project

Anagram's blog serves as a lead generation resource for the company while providing important information about vision plans for independent eye care providers. After a rebrand, the old blog felt disconnected from the main site. The goal was to integrate the blog into the corporate website while giving Anagram a unique brand voice.

The solution

Previously, a lot of traffic was going through the blog into login for the web application. Dual navigation eased movement between the blog, the corporate site, and entry into the application.

By integrating Spyglass into the main site, the navigation system needed to be updated to allow the the blog to highlight its utility as a resource without navigating the user completely away from the business side of the website. The navigation bar was modified into a primary and secondary system that reacts based on where the user is on the site.

On the blog, content streams were created for high-traffic blog posts, topics that supported business goals, and product-specific articles. Stylistically, the blog drew inspiration from newspaper editorials to appeal to an older demographic. New UI assets were added to the current design system to accommodate content-rich pages

Results

An editorial style blog that gives Anagram a platform for their brand's voice. Users coming from Anagram's insurance application can browse the blog for information relevant to their practice and continue using the blog as a point of entry into the app. The blog also served as a promotional tool for Anagram to announce new product features.
